Happy Sunday! It’s tea talk time. Grab some tea/coffee ad let’s chat. I hope you are all doing well. I hope you are all spreading more love and less hate. This past week has been something serious with the shooting in Orlando but one thing is for sure things are going to definitely get worse. The sad thing is we never know when it will be our last moment. Then on top of that people are only spreading hate because they aren’t listening, don’t care or just want to be mean and hateful.
I can’t stress enough the importance of knowing that you are doing your best to spread positive energy into the universe. It’s definitely hard to stay positive each day due to everything that is going on in the world, but you have to know and understand that life is not always fair or easy. The world is wicked and filled with wicked people.
After hearing the news on Sunday there were no words at all to use. The crazy thing about this is I wrote a poem for my recent book and it fits perfectly for how I’m feeling right now. I’ve shared this before and there is already a blog post about it, which I will show and link here.
There are no words to how I’m feeling. I’m just feeling. I’m upset. I’m emotional about it all. Those feelings are normal after hearing news about something so crazy and out of this world as such. Words will never do this type of situation justice. I simply wanted to have a tea talk about what just happened this time last week. We have to keep fighting for what we feel is right because after a couple of days/weeks, we will no longer talk about this matter. We have to stay active on what we feel is right. This quote I have used before and I’m going to reference it again because it’s only right for how I’m feeling.
“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.” Martin Luther King, Jr.
Be kind to one another. We are all different, we all have different views on life but that shouldn’t make a person less than you, that shouldn’t make you want to kill someone for no reason at all other than the person being who he/she truly is. I feel like I share a lot about loving other people along with yourself, because I try to do the same to others. Be mindful. Remember that you will not agree with everybody’s decisions in life but that doesn’t mean that they don’t matter. You matter. It’s just harder for some people to see that you matter because they are so blinded by hate. Stop living your life on the standards of society. Create your own standards and don’t settle for less than you deserve.
Remember this as well: No sin holds lesser value than the next. A sin is a sin.
I just wanted to have tea talk and discuss the latest issue on our hands right now. Love each other and mean it. Stop resulting to violence and hate but instead share love and kindness. There is clearly room for more love in this world. We need more of it. Thank you for stopping by today.
Until next post!
